Potatoes in mustard seed

Ingredients
- 5-6 potatoes, boiled and cubed small
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp mustard seed
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 3-4 curry leaves
- 1 tbs oil
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
- Salt to taste
RECIPE
- Boil potatoes for 30 minutes. Peel, make small cubes, and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pot or pan.
- Add in mustard seed and cumin seeds, and wait for them to splutter.
- Add curry leaves and green chilies, and wait for them to crackle.
- Add potatoes, salt, cilantro,o and turmeric.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes on low heat and covered.
- Add in lemon juice and give it a good stir.
- Garish with cilantro and serve with roti or poori.
NOTES
Optional:
- Tip: For best results, make the potato cubes as small as possible.
- Optional: You can also make this dish without boiling the potatoes. Simply add ½ cup of water after adding the potatoes to the pot.
