Chicken Broth  for Cold



Healing chicken broth

Ingredients

  • 4-5 pieces of bone-in chicken
  • 6-8 peppercorns
  • 1-2 cloves
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 1 stick of ginger
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion, halved
  • 1 tomato, quartered
  • Add any assortment of veggies that you may have at hand: carrot, broccoli, zucchini, spinach, green onion, spinach, or mushroom
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp oil
  • Salt to taste

RECIPE

  1. Fill the pot with 3-4 cups of water.
  2. Add chicken, peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, garlic, onion, tomato, vegetables, turmeric, salt, black pepper, and oil.
  3. Bring to a boil. Then cover and simmer for 30-45 minutes on low.
  4. Strain and sip in a cup.
