Ingredients
- 4-5 pieces of bone-in chicken
- 6-8 peppercorns
- 1-2 cloves
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 1 stick of ginger
- 4-5 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion, halved
- 1 tomato, quartered
- Add any assortment of veggies that you may have at hand: carrot, broccoli, zucchini, spinach, green onion, spinach, or mushroom
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp oil
- Salt to taste
RECIPE
- Fill the pot with 3-4 cups of water.
- Add chicken, peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, garlic, onion, tomato, vegetables, turmeric, salt, black pepper, and oil.
- Bring to a boil. Then cover and simmer for 30-45 minutes on low.
- Strain and sip in a cup.
