Stir Fried Cluster Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb guvar long beans, chopped in half

  • 2-3 potatoes, cubed
  • 1 tomato chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 ½ tsp cumin/coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

RECIPE

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a while on high heat.
  2. Add guvar and continue stirring.
  3. Add the tomatoes and keep stirring until they start to soften.
  4. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, paprika powder, and cumin/coriander powder.
  5. Add a quarter cup of hot water and cover the pot. Cook for 20-30 minutes or in an Instant Pot for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Enjoy hot with roti. 

NOTES

Optional:

  1. Add more water for runny gravy, or less for a thicker result.
